And the whole time they’re flying, Dane is all, I’m about to die. The hero does give punishing kisses and bruise-leaving gropes but that’s par for the course. I felt cheated at the end though. Hero was besotted and too stupid and scared to know when he was in love.
The heroine is a 28 year old surgeon who doesn’t want to ride on her eminent father’s coattails so she foregoes the cushy hospital position he has readied for her, ignores her mom’s nagging over her biological clock, and takes herself off to a small town to join a small snakr where she is going to get the hands-on experience whttal has always wanted.
