How can that be alive? Gooxebumps I loved it nonetheless and really enjoyed the aspect that involved a “vacation” to their grandparent’s farm house. If a problem can be ignored by the main character, it cannot fuel the story. Both were the kind of horror stories that I would have eaten up as a kid. I Need a New Butt! What gives the book a nice background is the great and calm village life.
However, this summer everything seems different. So one down and about sixty to go. It’s previous owners had written all over it, so I never read it.

And reading it now, that fact made me a bit sad because it’s actually a really good Goosebumps book that I would’ve enjoyed a lot as a kid. Stanley totally creeped me out. Not until the end do we see any external force deserving of the main character’s reaction, but by then three-fourths of the book has been frittered.
Show More Show Less. Some people probably won’t find mldnight a great read in the Goosebumps series, but since I had a slight fear of the rural settings as a child I felt like if I had read this as a kid, I never would’ve wanted to visit my aunt again.
