Product details File Size: Essential CVS is a complete and easy-to-follow reference that helps programmers and system administrators apply order to the task of managing large quantities of documents. Although it annoyed me to some extent, people not familiar with CVS may appreciate this feature of the book.

This nice, consolidated book provides a clear overview of the core functionality contained within CVS.
